Annual Enrollment takes place Oct. 17 through Nov. 8, and is your opportunity to review and make new selections to your benefits for the upcoming year.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2025, there are exciting changes to our benefits, including:
- A new fertility benefit that will help employees build their families by providing comprehensive coverage, personalized support and high-quality care.

Two weeks of Paid Caregiver Leave to support those that need to take time away from work to care for a family member (spouse, domestic partner, parent or child) with a serious health condition.
- An increase in Paid Parental Leave from four to six weeks.
For additional support in making informed decisions on your coverage, Quantum Health offers personalized, one-on-one support from a dedicated team of experts who are able to help navigate your health plan, program and coverage.

What's New?
We're excited to announce the following benefits changes effective Jan. 1, 2025.
New Paid Caregiver LeaveFull time and part-time (20 hours or more per week) benefit eligible employees with one or more years of service will be eligible for two weeks (up to 80 hours)* of paid leave to care for a spouse, domestic partner, parent or child with a serious health condition. Beginning Jan. 1, 2025 employees can initiate an intermittent or continuous leave through Aflac. If approved, employees would receive up to 100% of their base pay. Note: Union employees should refer to their CBA for eligibility. *Prorated for part-time employees |

Increased Paid Parental LeavePaid Parental Leave will increase from four weeks to six weeks for births and adoptions on or after Oct. 26, 2024. |

Introducing Progyny, our new fertility and family-forming providerOur current fertility services will move from Anthem to Progyny, beginning Jan. 1, 2025. Your Progyny fertility benefit has been specifically designed to give you the best chance of fulfilling your dreams of building a family. It bundles all the individual services, tests and treatments you may need into a Progyny Smart Cycle, ensuring you’ll never run out of coverage during a Smart Cycle. Progyny removes barriers to care so you and your Progyny doctor can create the customized treatment plan that is best for you, based on clinical criteria and at no additional cost beyond standard cost-sharing for covered services.

Surrogacy BenefitA surrogacy benefit will be available as part of the adoption reimbursement program in the amount of $3,500 per child. Beginning Jan. 1, 2025 you can get reimbursed up to $3,500 for qualified expenses per surrogacy arrangement, with a $7,000 calendar year maximum. Expenses such as legal costs, attorney’s fees, surrogacy agency fees, and some medical and travel expenses are eligible for reimbursement. |

LiveHealth Online counseling and psychiatry copays reduced to $10Copays for psychology & psychiatry services through Telemedicine by LiveHealth Online will decrease beginning Jan. 1, 2025 for Anthem members. |

NGCare Well-being CoachingConnect with a certified personal Well-being Coach through NGCare, who will work one-on-one with you to improve emotional well-being issues including work-life balance, resiliency, burnout and more. The program is designed to support you in life stressors, transitions and everyday challenges using evidence-based techniques. 93% of participants agreed that the skills learned in their coaching sessions improved their quality of life. Your well-being coach leverages core values, priorities and strengths and will educate you on national guidelines and recommendations. Finally, your coach can provide ongoing support to build on successes and troubleshoot challenges. To get started and find your Well-being Coach through ComPsych beginning Jan. 1, 2025. |
