Three Steps Toward Retirement Readiness

Picture the retirement you’ve always wanted. Whether that means traveling the world, pursuing a passion project or simply enjoying more free time, the sooner you start building your financial foundation, the more opportunities you’ll have in the future. Experts agree the best time to prepare for retirement is now, and the good news is that it’s never too late to start.

No matter where you are in your career, Northrop Grumman wants to support your retirement planning. That’s why we’ve partnered with Fidelity to offer live webinars in February tailored to three life stages: early-career, mid-career and pre-retiree. So, whether you’re celebrating your first paycheck, saving for your child’s college education or looking ahead to the next chapter after decades of service, these webinars offer personalized guidance and resources for you. Keep reading for a preview of three steps to keep your retirement on track.

Step one: Visualize your future with Fidelity’s Financial Wellness Dashboard.

The Financial Wellness Dashboard gives you the option to add personal financial data to generate custom models, showing what your savings could look like over time. The tool also offers:

Step two: Receive guidance from personalized messages.

We’ve made it easier than ever for employees to receive timely guidance to help maximize your Northrop Grumman Savings Plan. As a new enhancement, you can now receive customized actions and tips on the Retirement Planning page on the Total Rewards Gateway. Once you log in, you’ll have access to messages that are generated based on your savings plan selections, as well as your life event and life stage data.

Step three: Strengthen your plan with a complimentary 1:1 Fidelity consultation.

All employees can schedule a free meeting with a Fidelity workplace consultant who specializes in the Northrop Grumman Savings Plan. Whether you’ve been planning for a while or are just getting started, this consultation to review your financial situation can help you identify the best next steps.
