EdAssist provides financial support to cover costs you may incur for authorized programs of study such as: 

• Tuition costs at regionally accredited institutions

• Textbooks 
• Fees 
• Labs

Additionally, speak with an EdAssist education and college finance coach at no cost. These coaches can help you navigate the admissions and financial process, as well as develop a personalized education plan to support career discussions with your manager who must provide approval for participation. On average, employees that take advantage of this service save $260 on tuition costs.  

Already finished a growth opportunity with a student loan? Refinance with Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union or through our Employee Discount Program, Beneplace. Family Education 

We’ve gathered resources to help you prepare for your children’s first day of school, last day of school and everything in between. 

• Northrop Grumman Scholarships for the Children of Employees 
  • Northrop Grumman offers two scholarship opportunities for the children of employees: 
    • Northrop Grumman Scholarships for Employees’ Children, managed by Scholarship America, offers $2,000 awards to 130 children of full-time and part-time employees. 
    • National Merit Scholarships and Northrop Grumman Special Scholarships, managed by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, offers 55, 4-year renewable awards with $2,000 fixed annual stipends for full-time undergraduate coursework at a regionally accredited college/university in the United States.

    • “The application process was easy and completed it in just one evening,” said Sandra Liptau-Davis, a benefits manager. Her daughter is pursuing her dreams by participating in a specialized 5-year degree program. The university is out of state and the scholarship is helping her make up the difference between out-of-state and in-state tuition. Sandra is, “so grateful that Northrop Grumman offers more than just a paycheck – this scholarship is just one of many perks available to employees, and we will continue to take advantage of all the company has to offer.” 
    • Besides helping financially with college, the scholarships are a, “recognition of hard work, sincerity, and eagerness to learn,” says Amit Kumar, a digital staff engineer, whose daughters Amisha and Ashmita both received an NG scholarship.  “Benefits like this scholarship will help shape our future generation and I am very thankful that NG cares and sees the value in making such scholarships and awards available for its employees and their family.”
