To report a Qualifying
Life Event 

Divorce is a qualifying life event


A Qualifying Life Event (QLE) is a major change in your life circumstances—that allows you to enroll in or modify your health insurance outside of the standard yearly open enrollment period.

Log in to NetBenefits or call the NGBC (800-894-4194) within 31 days after the date of your divorce.


Once approved, you’ll be able to change or modify your current health and insurance elections.

Don't Forget

Designate Beneficiaries


Once enrolled, update or add a beneficiary in NetBenefits. A beneficiary is the person, trust, or other legal entity named by the participant to receive any benefit provided under the plan upon the participant's death. If you don't name a beneficiary, benefits will be paid out as specified under the terms of your plan.

Dependent Verification


If you have enrolled dependents, you will be required to complete the dependent verification request. You’ll receive more information on this after you enroll your dependents – watch for an email from Fidelity on documents required.

Update Workday


Make sure your name, address, and any other personal information is correct and up to date within Workday. To make changes go to my Workday > My Personal Information.
