Northrop Grumman offers several dental options for you to choose from. Preventive care is covered at 100% under all options.
Starting Jan. 1, 2027, dental PPO options will be insured by MetLife Dental. The plans are: Preventive Care, Dental Care, and Dental Care Plus. All plans cover eligible preventive care at 100%, with the flexibility to receive dental services from both in-network and out-of-network dentists.
You will receive an ID card from MetLife Dental, but it isn’t required to obtain services. You can also access and print an ID card on the MetLife Dental website.
Save More When You Stay In-Network
You have the flexibility to visit an in-network or out-of-network dentist but using an in-network MetLife dentist can help you save.
MetLife negotiates discounted fees with participating dentists. These negotiated fees can reduce the price on which your share of the cost is based, helping your dental benefits go further.

MetLife’s dental network includes more than 133,000 licensed dentists across more than 470,000 locations nationwide and continues to grow.
The extensive network includes general dentists and specialists, giving you more options when looking for convenient, in-network care for yourself or your covered family members.

Effective Dec. 31, 2026, Conclusion of Delta Dental Vendor Relationship
Most employees have three dental PPO options to choose from: Dental Care Plus, Dental Care, and Preventive Care. All three plans are administered by Delta Dental. Similar to a medical PPO plan, the Delta Dental PPO plan options provide a higher level of benefit coverage when you visit an in-network dentist. Delta Dental offers covered employees several tools and resources, including the SmileWay Wellness Center.
You won't receive an ID card from Delta Dental but it isn't required to obtain services. However, if you wish, you can access and print an ID card on the Delta Dental website or register online and add the card to your digital wallet.
Dental Marketplace is available to employees enrolled in a Cigna Dental Plan and can be shared with their families. It offers convenient access to trusted oral health brands at discounted prices, delivered straight to your home. To get started, register using your work email address and your group number exactly as it appears on your Dental ID card.
The Cigna DHMO Dental Care Access Plan (a dental HMO option) is available in some geographic areas. To view a list of participating providers, visit the Cigna's Find a Provider page and enter your address or zip code. If you enroll in this plan:
- You must select a Cigna dentist that participates in the Cigna DHMO Dental Care Access Plan Network.
- You won't receive coverage if you access care without a referral from your primary dentist.
- You pay a copay and the plan pays the remainder.

The Cigna Global Dental Plan is available to U.S.-based employees working abroad (and their eligible dependents).
