Everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed at work, but some of us need certain accommodations to thrive. This month’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month is a prime opportunity to consider how you and your team can be supportive of one another.
Eight percent of our employees identify as having a disability. This can range from a physical limitation to neurological diversity. As with our skills, our disabilities make us who we are and bring unique perspectives and have positive impacts on our business.
One way to support and celebrate our diversity this National Disability Employment Awareness Month is to join our employee resources group The VOICE: Allies for Disability Inclusion for events all month long.
