Creating a Life That Works for You

The last year and a half has brought a lot of changes to the way we work. We are partnering with Mental Health at Work to provide you with resources to help you find balance.

The following courses are part of the Mental Health First Aid at Work series and will be led by Jennifer Cox, a training leader at The National Council for Mental Well-Being.

 Finding Harmony Between Work and Life

Achieving work-life balance can be difficult, especially in our current environment. Whether you are working on-site, virtually or in transition, there are many tools to help manage stress and achieve harmony.

In this course, you will explore the difference between work-life balance and harmony. The switch from work mode to a more personal mode should be effortless; it’s about integrating your personal life and the things you love into your busy work life! You will learn strategies that support how to shift perspective and build resilience, before taking a different approach to the way you manage your time and everyday tasks.

Managing Through Change and Ambiguity: Finding Harmony in the New Now

In this session, you will be encouraged to challenge your current perspectives about change and learn strategies on how to navigate the ups and downs of work and life. Learning how to create a balance between how you think, how you work, and how you spend your time is essential to your long-term health and mental wellbeing.
