Colorectal Cancer Screening – Early Detection Saves Lives

Helping you manage your health and getting regularly scheduled preventive care is important to Northrop Grumman. We know it has been challenging to get care during the COVID-19 pandemic, so we’ve partnered with our insurance providers to support your colorectal health.

Approximately 25 percent of adults have not been screened for colorectal cancer as recommended and 21.7 million adults aged 50 to 75 years have never been screened for colorectal cancer, per data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the U.S. People don’t usually have symptoms, which is why screenings are so critical for your health. Screenings help your doctor find issues early. When colorectal cancer is caught early, it’s easier to treat and the survival rate is 90%.
